The main inspiration for hood making has come from the United States of America and specifically Ron Rollins and Doug Pineo. Ron's Video on hood making gave me an insight into the American style and Doug's clinical finishing and fit has driven the desire to achieve the same standard. In the quest to achieve Doug's standards many other historical hood makers (and current) have come into view .... American and European .... the journey through their skills and art is very educational and the variety of style and approach is represented in a small way in my website for all to see. I would like to personally thank all contributors and I hope that all budding hood makers or interested falconers will enjoy looking at, what really is, an Art form in its own right  ....... Art with a practical application.
