Phillip Glasier was the founder of The Falconry Centre at Newent in Gloucestershire and co-founder of the Hawk Trust and the Raptor Breeders Association. He was trained in falconry by his uncle Captain Knight. He was a keen conservationist and trained and flew birds of prey for over 60 years, as both an amateur and a professional. His hoodmaking comes straight from the Mollen school and his understudy Martin Jones (Breeder and Hoodmaker) still carries the style and tradition on today.
